Ameen - “May it be accepted / O Allah, answer.”

 I created AMEEN during one of the most uncertain chapters of my life. I was navigating uncertainty in my home, my career, my relationships, and almost every area of my life. Still, somehow, I continued to find joy through the one thing that kept me moving: my faith.

This canvas originally held another work. I chose to upcycle it and create something that reflected where I was in that moment—transforming something from a previous chapter into something new.

Across the canvas, آمين emerges through layers of color and movement. Ameen—the word I say after my prayers, carrying the hope that Allah hears me, accepts them, and answers in the way that is best for me.

For me, AMEEN is about continuing to believe when I don’t know what comes next. It is uncertainty, surrender, hope, and joy existing at the same time.
